Boutheina Ben Yaghlane Ben Slimane has been General Manager of ?Caisse des D?p?ts et Consignations? since April 2016. She was Secretary of State to the Minister of Finance from February 2015 to January 2016. In the legislative elections of October 2014, she was elected as a Member of Tunisian Parliament. From May 2012 to June 2013, she was an advisor to the Minister of Regional Development and Planning. Leila Belkhiria Jaber is a Tunisian businesswoman, co-founder and General Director of STELFAIR TUNISIA, enterprise operating in EMarketing and Geographic Information Systems. She is a member of the National Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs (CNFCE) since 1999 and a member of its executive board, in charge of ICT from 2006 to 2012. In February 2012, she was elected as a vice-president from 2012 to 2017 . In december 2017, she was elected as a president of CNFCE for 5 years? mandate. Ms Belkhiria has followed her higher studies in Management in ISG Tunisia and then in the Tunisian University for legal sciences where she received the MBA in international trade law and then in Dale Carnegie University for an MBA in communication and leadership. Ms. Belkhiria was much involved as a representative of the National Chamber of Women Entrepreneurs in Hrayer Tounes which is a large group of Tunisian women related to eighty civil society associations regrouped in order to defend fiercely women?s acquired rights and develop advocacy for promoting gender equality. She had the opportunity to take part to the organization of the national massive mobilization of the 13th august 2014 which had greatly contributed to ensure gender equality in the new Tunisian constitution. She also represented the CNFCE in all the meetings held in the National Constituent Assembly dealing with women rights and gender equality. In 2005, she was decorated as the businesswoman of the year in ICT and in 2008 as the businesswoman of the year
Essma Ben Hamida
Director, Enda Inter-Arabe
Essma Ben Hamida is director of Enda Inter-Arabe (Enda), which she cofounded in 1990. In 1995, Enda launched the first microcredit institution in Tunisia, which today reaches around 115,000 active clients, mainly women, in the poor areas of Tunisia. She is one of the founding members of Sanabel, Microfinance Network of Arab Countries and was elected twice to Sanabel?s Board (2002 ? 2008) and as chairperson from December 2005 to May 2008. She has worked as a consultant for various UN agencies and is a certified CGAP/Sanabel trainer. Prior to ENDA, Essma worked as a secondary school teacher and as a TV journalist/reporter. She opened the first bureau of the national press agency, TAP, in New York at the United Nations. From 1981 to 1989 she worked with the International Foundation for Development Alternatives (IFDA) and with the Third World Press agency, InterPress Service, in Rome and Geneva. During this time, she visited Palestinian people living in the Occupied Territories and wrote a series of articles on their conditions; Third World Network published the latter in booklet form under the title, ?Behind the Palestinian Uprising?, in English, Chinese and Malay. Essma Ben Hamida earned degrees in history, geography and completed one post-graduate year in urban planning.
