Mr. Doykov was born on Bulgaria. He arrived in India on 29th April 2014 to take up his assignment as Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Republic of India. On 10th June 2014 he presented his credentials to His Excellency the Honourable Shri Pranab Mukherjee, President of the Republic of India. Mr. Doykov is accredited also as Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka (9th September 2014). He is the first Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria accredited to the Republic of the Maldives (9th November 2014). On 12th January 2015 and 28th May 2015 he presented his credentials as Ambassador of Bulgaria to Bangladesh and Nepal respectively. Prior to his current appointment Mr. Doykov served as Director General for Bilateral Relations (October 2013 – April 2014) and Security Policy Director (June 2012 – September 2013) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria. From 2008 to 2012 he was Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Tunisian Republic. In this capacity he worked also as Head of the NATO Contact Point Embassy in Tunis (January 2009 – December 2010) and from 2010 till 2012 he was appointed as Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Islamic Republic of Mauritania (non-resident, based in Tunis, Tunisia). Earlier in his career Ambassador Doykov was assigned to the position of Director for Middle East and Africa at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria (2004 – 2008). Prior to this he served as State Expert at the NATO Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2003 – 2004), Deputy Political Adviser at the Delegation of the Republic of Bulgaria to NATO, Brussels (1999 – 2003) and Expert at the Directorate for NATO, Western European Union and Security Issues of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1997 – 1999). He started his diplomatic career as Third Secretary at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Arab Republic of Egypt (1993 – 1997) and Expert at the Arab Countries Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1992 – 1993).

Radosveta Chobanova has 15 years of experience in the fields of PR, Integrated Marketing Communications, journalism and media management in Bulgaria. She founded the PeeR to peer Agency and ever since she has been successfully leading PR and Marketing projects of various partners. Some of those include Deutsche Bank Bulgaria; the largest greenfield investor in Bulgaria and glass producer in the world – Sisecam, Volvo Group and Renault trucks, Carlsberg and electronic producer LG. She was previously head of the PR Department of Invest Bulgaria Agency and in 2004 Ms. Chobanova was considered as one of the most successful image makers in Bulgarian governmental institutions. She was, as well, until recently media adviser to the Bulgarian Minister of Tourism. Her media career record includes 5 years at the Bulgarian National Television, where she worked for the evening news and various business programs, and working as editor of the weekly TV chronicle. Later, she worked as Editor in Chief of the biggest business magazine in Bulgaria “Manager”, where she was in charge of both content and advertising policy. Furthermore, Ms. Chobanova was Head of the Business News Department at Bulgarian Radio NET and worked also as editor and moderator of the business magazine program of Darik Radio. She has undergone training at The Ken Blanchard Company, receiving a Situational Leadership II certificate and is also a NLP Master certified trainer from the International Trainers Academy of NLP (ITA).
